When I opened the simple, gray and white bubble box containing a magazine, I took the time to read the company blurb on the back of the package. Most of the words were devoted to the history of Glock firearms. These quotes appeared.

A Glock 34, high capacity magazine, TruGlo combat light, and Gold Dot ammo also make a good combination.

Owners. I Have A Question, I Felt The 26 For The First Time While Gun Shopping And I Absolutely Hated It. I Hated The Fact That It Wasn't A Full Grip,

These are bold claims that no one, Glock fan or not, can argue with. I have often said that the Glock is the foundation of firearms. Its reliability is established and unquestionable. Glock is reliable beyond any doubt, and this has been proven in dozens of military, law enforcement, and institutional tests. If you're spending less than a Glock, the question becomes, "What corners have been cut?" If you're paying more than a Glock, the question is, "What's the upside?"

Among Glock's proven accessories is the 9mm round Glock 33 magazine. While there are floor plates and others that add up to a 19-round magazine, in the Glock 9mm, the 33-round magazine is the big daddy of them all. This magazine was developed into the Glock 18 for use in the fully automatic version of the Glock 17 9mm pistol. Unlike many competitors and cheap imitations, the Glock magazine features a steel insert that contributes to both strength and feed.

The magazine is well finished with good quality control. The base pad is strong enough to withstand many drops and provides good stabilization when speed charging. I have a few that have been removed during magazine changes and heavy practice and they work fine. The rear of the magazine has witness holes marked 5 through 31.

Magazines provide a tactical advantage in home defense, especially if the firearm is a modern 9mm carbine like the Glock magazine-compatible Kel-Tec Sub 2000. The balance does not significantly change the balance of the Glock 9mm. If anything, the part is more stable when the charger is installed.

Ets Glock 43

The magazine weighs 20 ounces with a load of 124 rounds of ammunition. The correct sequence for loading any high capacity magazine is to load three to four rounds, strike the rear of the magazine to fully seat the cartridge case in the rear of the magazine, and continue until the magazine is full. Initially there is strong spring pressure when loading a Glock magazine, as there should be. Junk magazines are weak at first and become tough.

The Glock is tough and getting tougher. I can load the magazine for about 29 rounds before needing the Blackhawk. magazine loader. The fact is, the magazine loader makes it easy to get started, but most of us, especially those younger than me, will have little trouble loading a magazine to full capacity.

I tested the Glock 33-round magazine with various Glock pistols, shooting at an angle and even upside down. The magazine has never been fed and the weapons have never been able to be fed, chambered, fired or ejected. The ammunition used was the Federal Syntech 124 grain load; a new load that I find exceptional for practical use. I practice a lot with the Glock and enjoy shooting these pistols.

The 33-shot magazines have been loaded for months, and they shoot even though they were fully loaded. If you want to use the traditional method of discharging one or two stages, it is good for long-term use. However, with this magazine, I don't see the need to do so.

Glock 48 9mm, 4.17\

The 33-round magazine is well balanced. It weighs about 20 ounces with a full load of 124 rounds of ammunition.

I often keep this magazine ready in my Glock at home. A long-slide 9mm Glock loaded with Speer Dot cartridges offering a payload of 33 rounds is a formidable defender of home. Few, if any, of us will have time to grab a spare flashlight and magazine when the alarm goes off at night and the burglary teams come in in pairs. The Glock 33 Round Magazine is a great choice for home defense. It's also a lot of fun at the shooting range, and that means a lot of practice.

Do you keep a 33-round magazine for home defense training? What is your experience with the Kel-Tec Sub 2000? Share your answers in the comments section.
